Youths Unite to Not light up by TJC!

(TJCians Dancing during the Flash Mob)
Our project, the ‘Youths Unite Not to Light Up’ Project aimed to convey that life could be better if one did not smoke and to implement this from a fresh perspective, such as the concept of opportunity cost. This concept ties in with Health Promotion Board’s ‘Live it up without lighting up’ campaign.
Based on this, various anti-smoking activities were implemented, such as a Facebook ‘Opportunity Cost’ Smoke-Free Competition, (click here to view) a student flashmob during the ‘Youth Shine Festival’ held by National Youth Council on 2nd July 2011 and various anti-smoking messages integrated into selected activities organized by the Student Council, such as Graduation Night on 8th Dec 2011.
